學習 IT Architecture

近年各大 Vendor 均推出頂級認證：Microsoft Certified Architect, Cisco Certified Architect, Red Hat Certified Architect, Check Point Certified Master Architect, Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect 等。這反映 IT Architecture 在行內的重要性。 

其實學習 IT Architecture 有一個更全面及容易的方法 – TOGAF 9.0 Certification！TOGAF的全名是The Open Group Architecture Framework，The Open Group 是一間 vendor-neutral 及 technology-neutral 的團體，它有推出一系列的 IT Architecture Certifications。 

市面有其它 IT Architecture Framework，為什麼要選 TOGAF？原因有三點： 

1.      TOGAF 有完善的 certification scheme。大家可到熟悉的 Prometric 中心報考 Foundation 及 Certified 認證；TOGAF 認證更是終身有效，不須 re-certified 的，全球已有超過一萬人考取TOGAF 認證。

2.      TOGAF 大有來歷。它的前身是 US Department of Defense 的 Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management (TAFIM) 。

3.      很多跨國企業都使用 TOGAF。曾在 Great Learning 學習 TOGAF 的學員便有來自 HSBC, BOC, Cathay Pacific 等。 

TOGAF將Architecture分為四大domains: BDAT – Business, Data, Application, Technology。每個domain均有不同的concerns, model, tools and techniques。可謂博大精深。 

再將整個 Architecture 的規劃及發展融合到它的c ore technique -- Architecture Development Method 的不同 phases 中:
