IIBA 是成立於 2003 年的加拿大組織，最重要貢獻是撰寫了 Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, BABOK。 BABOK 的內容全面，除描述了一個完整的 framework 及一系列 process 外，更詳細解釋了 34 個 BA 工具。
究竟 CBAP 能否紅起來？答案是很有可能。祇要大家到 Amazon Bookstore 找尋一下，便有十多種 CBAP 的書籍，這是一個重要的指標。
可是考取 CBAP 這認證有重要的考慮：考試費頗貴，報名手續比 PMP® 還要繁複，Business Analysis 經驗要求極為嚴格，而且考生一定會被審查。
假設大家想取得 Business Analysis 認證，但覺得 CBAP 不是你的茶，可考慮 ISEB 的 Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis。這張認證有以下好處：考試費只需 HK$1,400，考試不須任何要求，更可到大家熟悉的 VUE (http://www.vue.com/) centre 考試，而 ISEB 的認受性亦極高：它是提供考 ITIL Foundation Certificate 的 Examination Institute 之一。
最後介紹的是 Great Learning 的 Business Analysis Certifications 課程，它有幾個特點：
1. 內容包含 CBAP 及 ISEB 考試所有範圍。
2. 滿足 CBAP 報名的其中一個要求：21 小時的 BA 課程。
3. 用作 claim PMP® 21 PDUs 之用。

In my past seven or eight years of career, I worked on mainly project management positions which involved business analysis tasks from time to time.
For example, in a typical billing system project, I needed to analyze the business pricing and devise a system-perspective rate card. Moreover, we needed to understand the existing business flow, elicit user requirements, etc.
As mentioned in the blog, IIBA is very stringent in substantiating the experience of the candidate, do you happen to know if they need the candidate to provide the relevant documentation as evidence? It may be hard if this is the case, for those like me who have worked for different companies.
From my experience of background audit during my PMP certification process, PMI required me to list the details of my project experience and have the relevant line manager sign for approval. Just wondering if the audit requirement would be similar for IIBA's CBAP.
